WREN Hydraulics | Bolt Tensioner Auxiliary Fixture

Time:2026-10-27

At bolt tensioning job sites, the handling, alignment, and support of bolt tensioners largely rely on manual lifting and alignment, which is physically demanding. To address this issue, WREN has developed this bolt tensioner auxiliary tool, which replaces traditional manual lifting operations, reduces the physical strain during construction, and enhances the quality of bolt installation while reducing the workload.

The overall structure of this auxiliary fixture consists of a movable hydraulic lifting cart, a counterweight assembly, a swivel arm, a clamping assembly, and other components.

Mobile Hydraulic Lift Cart: Consists of four casters, structural steel, a sheet metal platform, hydraulic components, and a handle. The main body is primarily constructed of carbon steel plates welded together and secured with screws. It is moved to the desired work location using the four casters mounted on the base. Height range of the hydraulic lift cart: approximately 300–1,260 mm; Load capacity: 150 kg; Workload capacity: approximately 110 kg.

Counterweight Assembly: Consists of the main counterweight block, worktable counterweight plate, quick-release counterweight plates, and other components, which are secured to the movable hydraulic lift cart using screws and wing screws. Weight of a single quick-release counterweight plate: approximately 6.3 kg; weight of the worktable counterweight plate: approximately 37 kg; weight of the counterweight block: approximately 12 kg.

Swing Arm Assembly: Consists of a flanged swing arm shaft, swing arm, and other components, which are assembled via welding, screws, and bearings and mounted on a movable hydraulic lift cart. Swing arm rotation range: ±15°; swing arm length: approximately 320 mm; required manual operating force: approximately 20 N.

Clamp Assembly: Consists of an upper clamp and a lower clamp connected by screws and nuts. By adjusting the screws, the clamp securely fastens the tensioner in place. The inner diameter of the clamp is available in three sizes—φ129 mm, φ141 mm, and φ135 mm—depending on requirements.

This complete set of tooling replaces traditional manual assistance, handling, and alignment tasks. It requires only 20 N of assistive force to complete equipment adjustments, eliminating the need for strenuous manual labor, significantly reducing the physical strain on construction workers, and doubling operational efficiency.
